Ralph L. Goodwin

NEW COLUMBIA - Ralph L. Goodwin, 69, passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 at his residence. He was born February 24, 1942 in Milton the son of the late George and Phyllis (Welliver) Goodwin. Ralph was married to the former Elaine E. Culver on October 25, 1964. They celebrated 47 years of marriage together. He worked for AC & F as a welder retiring in 1995 after 30 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the American Legion, Lewisburg. Ralph served in the Army during the Vietnam War as a Sergeant. Surviving are his loving wife, two daughters Darlene (David) Showers of Herndon and Kimberly (Andrew) Ulmer of New Columbia. Four grandchildren Matt, Melissa, Stephanie and Jonathan and two great-grandchildren Anthony and Emilee. Two brothers Ronald L. Goodwin of Milton and James T. Goodwin of New Columbia also two sisters Beverly Hall and Deborah Berger both of Florida. Friends and relatives will be received on Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front Street, Milton from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
