DALTON-Ralph J. "Butch" Miller, 65, of Beaumont and Dalton passed away unexpectedly at Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, TN. Born in Wilkes-Barre on January 8, 1944, he was a son of the late Ralph O. and Catherine R. (Dwyer) Miller and was a graduate of E.L. Meyers High School. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Prior to retirement, he worked through Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers Local #5 Union Hall as a marble tile setter's assistant. Butch was a member of Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. He is survived by; his wife of 37 years, the former Betty Jo Cato; brother Andrew G. Miller, Ashley; sisters, Catherine Schwartz, Wilkes-Barre and Maureen deLeur, Harveys Lake, and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc. 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre with Deacon Thomas Cesarini officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Military honors will be conducted. Friends may call Friday from 7-9 PM and Saturday from 9AM till the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gate of Heaven Church, 40 Machell Avenue, Dallas, PA 18612.
