Preston G. Keller

RED LION- Preston G. Keller, 80, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, August 13, 2007 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Norma "Sally" (Craley) Keller. The couple celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on October 14 2006. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 a.m. on Thursday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a viewing from 9-10 a.m. His pastor, The Reverend Thomas R. Osenbach will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery, with full military honors by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Keller was born in Chanceford Township on April 22, 1927, a son of the late Luther and Verna (Emenheiser) Keller. He retired from Sears & Roebuck after 27 years of service; prior to that he worked for James Favino Construction and he owned and operated Keller's Lawnmower Services for 40 years. Mr. Keller was a member of Bethlehem (Stonepile) United Methodist Church in Red Lion and Centerville AARP. He enjoyed traveling, coin collecting, fishing, and treasure hunting. He was a US Navy Veteran during WWII. Mr. Keller leaves two daughters; Diane Sunday and her husband Jeffrey of York, Peggy Clay and her husband Robert of Carlisle, three grandchildren: Stephanie Heartlaub and her husband Adam and Matthew and Joseph Clay, two great granddaughters: Megan and Hope, and a sister Shirley Graham and her husband Dean of Craley.
