Phyllis Mae (Shaffer) Ehrhart

NORTH YORK - Phyllis Mae (Shaffer) Ehrhart, 73, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Manor Care - North. She was the wife of the late Richard E. Ehrhart. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with Chaplain Wesley S. Mast officiating. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 AM Thursday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens. Born December 11, 1936 in York a daughter of the late Edwin and Kathleen (Lentz) Shaffer, she had worked at Danskin Inc., and D& D Sewing factories. Phyllis enjoyed spending time with her Labrador and shepherd dogs. Mrs. Ehrhart is survived by a brother, Michael Shaffer of York; four sisters, Dora Sprague and Betty Ruppert both of Dover, Mary Knaub of Dallastown, and Frances Criswell of York; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Philip, Paul Leroy, and Oren Dean Shaffer; and a sister, Estella Shaffer.
