Phyllis M. Sterling

YORK-Phyllis M. (Brenneman) Sterling, 94, passed away Monday, April 20, 2020 at Pleasant Acres in York. She was the wife of the late Lewis P. Sterling. Mrs. Sterling was born in West York on July 7, 1925, the daughter of the late George W. Brenneman, Jr. and Effie (Waltermyer) Brenneman. She was a homemaker and worked as a nurse’s aid for the former VNA of York. Mrs. Sterling enjoyed reading and going out to eat. She also loved to dance and roller skate. Mrs. Sterling leaves a son Stephen Sterling and his companion Amanda; a daughter, Dianna Lee Laughman and her companion Larry; a granddaughter, Kimberly and her husband Troy; and two great grandchildren, Nicole and Aaron. She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Hollinger.
