Phyllis J. Orlowsky

Phyllis J. Orlowsky Phyllis J. Orlowsky, 68, of Pottsville, passed away Tuesday morning at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, Pottsville. Born in Minersville on May 8, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Emidio and Mary Martin Dorazio. She attended Pottsville Catholic High School. Phyllis was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Pottsville. She was preceded in death by her three brothers, Louis, Joseph and Michael Dorazio. Phyllis is survived by her husband of 48 years, Joseph T. Orlowsky, Pottsville; she was a loving mother of 12 children; Phyllis Pulling, Oak Ridge, NC, Joseph Orlowsky, Stephens, GA, James Orlowsky, Austin, TX, Lisa Mahall, Pottsville, John Orlowsky, Pottsville, Maria Goodman, Pottsville, Robert Orlowsky, Pottsville, William Orlowsky, Pottsville, Michael Orlowsky, Middletown, CT, Nichole Ferhat, Lafayette Hill, PA, Stephanie Clark, Stafford VA and her Beloved daughter and caretaker Elizabeth Orlowsky, at home; her brother, James Dorazio, O.S.F.S., Stockton, CA; her sister, Anna Lepere, Hershey, PA; 13 Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be private. There will be no calling hours. Private interment will be held in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Pottsville. The family would prefer memorials in lieu of flowers to be made to either St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to the American Diabetes Association, 2040 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
