Phyllis H. (Sherry) Stoudt

ALLENTOWN - Phyllis H. Stoudt, 82, of Pottsville, died Sunday morning at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center. Born in Pottsville on June 15, 1925, she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret (Berstler) Sherry. She was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church, Pottsville. For 51 years, she was married to the late Walter E. Stoudt, who died August 4, 1998. A loving mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother, Phyllis is survived by: a son Robert, and his wife Annette, of Pottsville; a granddaughter, Stacy Seaman, of Orwigsburg; a great granddaughter, Shelbee Seaman, of Orwigsburg; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Phyllis was preceded in death by: three brothers, Lester, Franklin and Orwin Sherry; and two sisters, Elizabeth Sherry and Annette Brown. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM from the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 6th & W. Market St., Pottsville. The Rev. Bonnie Yeager will officiate. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 9 until time of service. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
