YORK—Peter D. Lese, 82, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the Pappus House in York Township. He was the husband of the late Eileen S. (Stenberg) Lese to whom he was married for 57 years. A Celebration of Life Tribute will be 11AM, Monday March 21, 2022 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York. Officiating the service will be Certified Celebrant Debe Snyder. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Born June 5, 1939 in Washington D.C., he was a son of the late Vincent H. and Lillian (Hertz) Lese. He was employed as a mortgage broker and real estate agent, working with various companies over his career. An avid sports fan, he was a devoted supporter of the Alabama Crimson Tide, Washington Nationals and the Washington Redskins. He attended classes at the JCC and for several years was active in the Southeastern Guide Dogs. Most of all, he had an immense love for his family and never missed an opportunity to facetime his grandchildren. Mr. Lese is survived by two sons, Evan M. Lese and wife, Trish and Gregory H. Lese and wife, Melissa; five grandchildren, Michael, Miranda, Jordan, Aidan and Morgan; two brothers, Alan and Larry Lese and nieces and nephews.
