Perry L. Brabham, Jr.

YORK- Perry L. Brabham, Jr, 68, passed away Saturday March 21, 2009, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Viola (Young) Brabham. A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM Friday, March 27, 2009 at Fairview Full Gospel Missionary Baptist Church, 4655 Pine St. York. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born on August 15, 1940 in York, a son to the late Perry and Lucille (Small) Brabham, Sr., he retired from Caterpillar Tractor Company after many years of service. Perry was a 1959 graduate of William Penn Senior High School. He was a great bowler and was in many tournaments where he won various trophies. Mr. Brabham leaves to mourn his loss two sons, Omar Brabham and N'Gai Brabham both of York; a daughter, Perette and her husband Daryl Bonner of Marlboro, MD; three step daughters, Carmen Henderson, Lori Henderson, and Paula Dix; a number of grandchildren and step grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; a brother, Charles Brabham of Dover; two sisters, Barbara Kearse of York and Diane and her husband Bob Saunders of Buffalo, NY; and an aunt, Bessie Palmer of York. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Benjamin and Gregory Brabham. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice Services, 218 E. Market Street, York, PA 17403.
