Peggy A. (Mellinger) Houseal

Dover--Peggy A. (Mellinger) Houseal, 76, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Harrisburg Hospital. Born March 29, 1941 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Glenn W. and Frances (Hippensteel) Mellinger. Peggy was a 1959 graduate of West Shore High School and a 1963 graduate of Wheaton College. Peggy was a consultant to small businesses in central Pennsylvania for over 40 years. Peggy is survived by sons David S. Houseal and companion Kelly of York and Wesley G. Houseal of York. She is also survived by a sister, Sharon Ludt and husband William of Lansdale; two nephews Ryan Ludt and wife Aimee and Jason Ludt and wife Jennifer; a niece, Keli Kishbaugh. She was preceded in death by her companion, William Johnson and a sister, Glenda Mellinger. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2PM, Monday, May 8, 2017 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York with family friend, Jack Wyrick officiating. A viewing will be held from 12-2PM, Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Spring Hill Cemetery—Shippensburg.
