Pearl V. (Robinson) Stout

Pearl V. (Robinson) Stout, 73, of Elmira, NY passed away on Friday, October 15, 2010 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was the loving wife of the late Russell F. Stout, Sr. who passed away on August 24, 2002. The couple married on September 28, 1956 and had 46 happy years together. Pearl was born on August 13, 1937 in Elmira, daughter of the late Earl and Laura (Seeley) Robinson. She was a graduate of the Elmira Free Academy. Pearl enjoyed singing and playing with her husband Russell. Pearl was a homemaker, but moreover she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Russell Sr., her daughter Cory M. Stout, and her sisters Lelia Cronpton and Janette Robinson. She is survived by her children: Nancy (David) South of Todd, NC, Russell F. Stout, Jr. and fianc Susie of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, Peggy Sue South of Boone, NC, Laura (Randy) South of Elmira, NY, and William B. Stout of Elmira, NY, 17 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, her brothers Earl (Linda) Robinson, Jr. and Elmer (Cheryl) Robinson, both of Horseheads, NY, her sister Mary (Tyler) Grover of Spencer, NY, and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may come to call from 12:00-1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY. The funeral honor Pearls life will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 19th at the funeral home with Rev. James Carr officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
