Pearl K. (Kropp) Ginther

POTTSVILLE - Pearl Ginther, 95, of Pottsville, died Friday at the Schuylkill Medical Center, East Norwegian St., Pottsville. She had been a resident at the Necho Allen Apartments, Pottsville and was currently living at Luther Ridge. Born in Tamaqua, on December 16, 1913, she was the daughter of the late John G. and Katie Bausman Kropp. She was a graduate of Tamaqua Senior High School, class of 1932 and moved to Pottsville in 1937. She had previously been employed in the garment industry and retired in June 1973 as a bookkeeper at the former Ost & Ost, Inc. Auto Supplies, Pottsville. She was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church, Pottsville. She was preceded in death by: husbands, John E. Mucklow, in 1966 and George J. Ginther, in 1973; brothers, Russell L. Kropp, Herbert T. Kropp, George W. Kropp, and Stanley E. Kropp. Surviving Pearl is a brother, David P. Kropp, Orlando, Fl; nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Pottsville. The Rev. Bonnie Yeager will officiate. The Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 6th & W. Market St., Pottsville, is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Evangelical United Methodist Church, 305 S. Centre St., Pottsville, PA 17901.
