Pearl A. (Vaughan) Baummer

YORK- Pearl A. (Vaughan) Baummer, 85, formerly of Cambridge, MD, died Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Country Meadows in York. She was the wife of the late Anthony Baummer and the late Arl W. Brock. Private services will be held at a later date. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., in York is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Baummer was born in Hillsboro, WV on March 19, 1927, daughter of the late Milton and Josephine (McNulty) Vaughan. Mrs. Baummer volunteered for the Ladies Auxiliary at Dorchester County Hospital in Cambridge, MD. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Baummer leaves three daughters, Barbara Bristow and her husband Dave of Herndon, VA, Bernetta Casseri and her husband Joe of Fallston, MD, and Brenda Chalk and her husband Mike of Stewartstown; two sons, Burton Brock and his wife Becky of Laurel, DE, and Bradford Brock and his companion Peggy of Lancaster; 14 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two sisters, Vera Sue Downer and her husband Don of Elkton, MD and Mary Vaughan and her companion Robert of Easton, MD. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry and James Vaughan and a sister, Louise Kinnison.
