LEWISBERRY – Pearl A. (Urich) Keener, 83, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Camp Hill. She was the wife of the late William O. Keener. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 19, 2012 at Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 West Front Street, Lewisberry with Pastor Abby Leese officiating. A viewing will be held from 1-2:00 PM Monday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery. Born February 12, 1929 in Goldsboro, a daughter of the late Walter and Lydia (Updegraff) Urich, she enjoyed playing Bingo and Pokeno. Mrs. Keener was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Yocumtown; Lewisberry Community Fire Co., Ladies Auxiliary; Red Land Senior Center; and had been active with the Golden Age Senior’s Group in New Cumberland. Mrs. Keener is survived by a daughter, Pamella A. and husband Dan Soltis of Lewisberry; two sons, Scott W. and wife Jana Keener of Enola and Mark A. and wife Mary Jo Keener of Lewisberry; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and her beloved dog and best friend “Coty.” She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Yinger.
