Pauline U. Good

DALLASTOWN- Pauline (Umberger) Good, 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at her granddaughter’s residence in Belle Vernon, PA. She was the wife of the late Robert G. Good and the late Reynold E. Daugherty.

A viewing will be held from 10a.m.-noon on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion. A private graveside service will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York.

Mrs. Good was born in Rising Sun, MD on June 23, 1938, the daughter of the late W. Seldon and G. Hester (Phipps) Umberger. She retired from Dallastown School District, where she was a teacher for 33 years.

Mrs. Good was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Dallastown, where she also served as the organist. She received a Bachelor’s degree from Millersville University. She enjoyed reading, movies, spending time with her family and also spending time at Cedar Creek Lake.

Mrs. Good leaves two sons, Tim Daugherty and his wife Yemi of Texas and Chris Daugherty of Altoona; two daughters, Deb Patterson and her husband Joe of Charleroi and Karen Smith and her husband Tim of Dallastown; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Daugherty.
