Pauline L. Ruth

NORRISTOWN, PA – Pauline L. (Stambaugh) Ruth, 88, formerly of York, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Towne Manor West in Norristown. She was the wife of the late Daniel Ruth, Jr. to whom she was married for 37 years. A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with the Rev. Jeffrey G. Johnson and the Rev. Dr. Ron Oelrich officiating. A viewing will be held from 10-11:00 AM Saturday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Pauline’s Tribute Service will be webcast on her obituary page at www.HeffnerCare.com Born October 21, 1933 in York, a daughter of the late Paul L. Stambaugh and the late Betty L. (Smith) Sipe and stepdaughter to Harry Sipe; she was a 1951 graduate of William Penn Senior High School. Pauline had worked at the former P. Wiest’s & Sons Dept. Store and Bon-Ton Dept. Store in downtown York where she completed secretarial work and was in the marking room. Mrs. Ruth had been a member at the former Bethany United Church of Christ where she was active with Consistory, Church Choir where she enjoyed performing solos, and various other Church committees. She is now a member at Faith UCC. Pauline was a member of the Matinee Musical Club of York and as a child she enjoyed tap dancing. She was a proud grandmother with a strong faith. Mrs. Ruth enjoyed gardening, going roller skating with her husband, watching ice skating on TV, playing board games, and spending time with her family. She had also won numerous awards at the York Fair for her embroidery and baking. Mrs. Ruth is survived by two daughters, Susan M. and husband Paul Juliano of Norristown and Sharon L. Weller of Norfolk, VA; two grandchildren, Jordan P. Juliano and his fiancé Emma Davis, and Jacquelyn M. Juliano. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stacy Lynn Weller; and a son-in-law, Craig A. Weller.
