DALLASTOWN - Pauline J. (Sweitzer) Warner, 69, died at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at her home. She was the wife of the late Dennis R. Warner. A service to celebrate Mrs. Warner’s life will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, May 6, 2012 at the Shrewsbury Dunkard Brethren Church, 216 N. Main St., Shrewsbury with her brother, Elder Merle Sweitzer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Mrs. Warner was born December 26, 1942, in Red Lion. She was the daughter of the late Clifton N. and Valeria A. (Stump) Sweitzer. She was a medical secretary at York Hospital for many years and later became a medical transcriptionist retiring in 2008. Following her retirement, she continued to work on a part-time basis as a medical transcriptionist until 2010. A lifelong member of the Shrewsbury Dunkard Brethren Church, Mrs. Warner also enjoyed sewing, reading, cooking and baking, but most of all, spending time with her family. She leaves her son, Greg Warner and wife, Jody of Red Lion; her three daughters, Tammy Barclift and husband, Dallas of York, Kathy Warner of Dallastown, and JoAnn Tompkins and her companion, Gene Badders of Fawn Grove; four grandchildren, Eric Warner and wife, Lindsay, Jeremiah Warner, Dante Hanna and Danielle Warner; two brothers, George Sweitzer and his companion, Janet Slack of Chambersburg, and Merle Sweitzer and wife, Cindy of Felton; and four sisters, Alice Keeny and husband, Dennis of Stewartstown, Grace Blocher and husband, Dale of Red Lion, Beatrice Sweitzer, also of Red Lion and Mabel Chupp and husband, Donald of Iowa. Mrs. Warner was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Warner in 1995; a sister, Betty; and a brother, James. Memorial contributions may be made to the York Cancer Center Patient Help Fund, 25 Monument Rd., Suite 194, York, PA 17403.
