Pauline I. Goodling

DALLASTOWN- Pauline I. (Eck) Goodling, 96, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Misericordia Nursing Home in York. She was the wife of the late Clyde L. Goodling. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 251 E. Main Street in Dallastown, with a visitation from 10:30-11 a.m. Father Tim Klunk will be officiating at the mass. Burial will be in Dallastown Union Cemetery. Mrs. Goodling was born in Dallastown on January 13, 1921, the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Bernardine E. (Lawrence) Eck. She retired in 1987 as a home health aide after 11 years with the York VNA. Mrs. Goodling was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dallastown, Pace Setters, and VNA Retirement Club. Mrs. Goodling leaves a son, William C. Goodling and his wife Toby of Red Lion; two daughters, Mary Kindig and her husband Larry of Red Lion and Jeanne Goodling of Dallastown; eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; eight great, great grandchildren; two brothers, Gregory Eck and Richard Eck; and a sister, Emily Hoover. Two grandchildren had preceded her in death. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 251 E. Main Street, Dallastown, PA 17313.
