Pauline (Hollingshead) Haldeman

YORK- Pauline (Hollingshead) Haldeman, 72, died on Monday, January 17, 2022 at York Hospital. She was the wife of Richard T. Haldeman to whom she was married 51 years. The couple wed on August 22, 1970. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with Pastor Howard Edmondson officiating. Viewings will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born on December 7, 1949 in Bloomsburg, she was the daughter of the late Burton and Clara (Hauntzelman) Hollingshead, Sr. She graduated from Scranton State School for the Deaf in 1968. Pauline was a homemaker. Mrs. Haldeman was a member of Bible Baptist Church in York and a member of Deaf Seniors of America, Greater Harrisburg Association of the Deaf, Keystone Center Deaf Social Central Deaf Senior Citizens and Pennsylvania State Association of the Deaf. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Along with her husband, Richard, Pauline is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Vanover and her husband, Brad of Red Lion and Paula Haldeman of York; five grandchildren, Dylan Pawelczyk, Autum Vanover, Preslei Pawelczyk, Joel Vanover and Brooke Vanover; and two brothers, Burton Hollingshead, Jr. and his wife, Margaret of East Berlin and Richard Hollingshead of York.
