Pauline (Fitzgerald) Argent Snell

WEST MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP- Pauline (FitzGerald) Argent Snell, 67, of York died Monday May 28, 2012 at 10:17 a.m. at home. Pauline fought a long 24 year courageous battle against breast cancer. Pauline was the loving wife of Robert C. Snell of York. Bob and Pauline celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary on October 12, 2011. She was born on April 21, 1945 in Weston SuperMare, Somerset, England, daughter of the late Patrick FitzGerald and Anges (Norton) FitzGerald. She and Bob married in Bedford, England in 1968. She was educated in England to the junior college level. From 1979-1993 she was employed at Dominion Bank of the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, starting as a credit clerk and rising to Assistant Vice President of Compliance. She was a member of Paradise Lutheran Church where she was an active choir member. In addition to her loving husband, she leaves a son, Patrick S. Snell and his wife Allycia, granddaughter, Chandler and a grandson, Killian. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 924-N Colonial Ave., York, PA 17403. Following cremation, services will be held privately. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge of the arrangements.
