NEW COLUMBIA - Pauline E. Shreck, 93, died on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Rolling Hills Manor, Milmont, PA. Pauline was born on June 15, 1916 in White Deer and was the daughter of the late William L. and Florence I. (Baker) Shreck. She had worked at Fox-Knapp Manufacturing from 1941 until 1980 when she retired. She was a member of the former New Columbia Lutheran Church now known as United In Christ, Lewisburg. She was also a member of Woodman of the World, White Deer Grange #122, Pomona Grange #31 and the Amalgamated Cotton Garmet Workers Union Local #101. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and loved her nieces and nephews. Pauline in survived by one sister-in-law; Freda Shreck of West Milton, four nieces; Darlene Brown of New Columbia, Connie Shreck of West Milton, Peggy Roberts of Marlton, NJ and Carolyn Yoder of New Columbia, one nephew; Lee Shreck of Milton, nine grand nieces and nephews and eight great-grand nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; Charles E. and Harold D. Shreck. There will be a public viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2009 at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Catrina Ciccone officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery, New Columbia.
