YORK- Pauline E. (Horn) Waltermeyer, 87, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2012 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Lewis A. Phillips, the late John R. Snyder and the late James R. Waltermeyer. A celebration of life tribute service will be 2 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2012 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with Pastor Ray Hatcher officiating. A viewing will be from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Bethlehem (Stonepile) United Methodist Cemetery. Mrs. Waltermeyer was born on September 18, 1924 in Windsor Twp., a daughter of the late Edward P. and Emma M. (Hibner) Horn. Pauline was a farmer and housewife. Mrs. Waltermeyer loved all animals, most of all her cats. She enjoyed dancing and going out to eat. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Waltermeyer is survived by three sons, Roger A. Phillips and his wife, Audrey J. of Grand Junction, CO, William P. Snyder and his wife, Nadina V. of Red Lion and John R. Snyder and his wife, Kathy A. of Red Lion; three daughters, Teresa I. Phillips of Red Lion, Deborah A. Bentley and her husband, Brian V. of York and Beverly A. Light and her husband, David B. of Sinking Spring; one grandson; seven granddaughters; three great grandsons; three great granddaughters; and two sisters, Mae Urey of York and Kathryn Rineholt of Red Lion. Memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail N., York, PA 17406.
