Paulette E. (Lieberknecht) Eveler

AIRVILLE- Paulette E. (Lieberknecht) Eveler of Airville died November 25, 2012 at her residence after a brief illness, age 65. She was the wife of Robert C. Eveler. Mr. and Mrs. Eveler were married for 45 years, having been married at St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Bridgeville on July 23, 1967 by the Rev. David Klepper. Paulette was born July 4, 1947 in Columbia, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Amos H. and Thelma R. (Stough) Lieberknecht. She grew up on her parent’s farm in Chanceford Township. She graduated from Red Lion Senior High School in 1966. She was employed by the former Wiest's Department Store, Pennsylvania Saw Company, P. A. & S. Small Company and later Sysco Central Pennsylvania, LLC in Harrisburg as a merchandiser. She retired in January 2011. Since her marriage she was a member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church of Brogue, where she served on the church council, as financial secretary and on various church committees. She enjoyed quilting, knitting and dancing, and she and her husband belonged to the Syncopation Dance Club of York. She is survived by her husband Robert C. Eveler of Airville, and children: son James R. Eveler and his companion Lorraine Farber of Spring Grove and daughter Amanda E. Eveler of York; a sister Linda Keeny and husband Dan of Dover; brother-in-law Dan Eveler of Red Lion; sister-in-laws Kay Konkel and husband Norbert of York, and Amy Squire and husband George of West Chester; several nephews and a niece; and her cat, Mr. Logan. The funeral service will be on Saturday, December 1 at St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2335 Cramer Rd. in Brogue beginning at 11:00a.m. Visitation will be held beginning at 10:00a.m.at the Church. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2335 Cramer Road, Brogue.
