Collinsville—Paul T. Curran, 86, died Friday, August 21, 2009 at his residence in Chanceford Township. He was the husband of Doris M. (Kennedy) Curran, to whom he was married for 58 years. A tribute service celebrating his life will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 29, 2009 at New Harmony Presbyterian Church, 2295 Delta Rd, Brogue, with his pastor, the Rev. Robert S. Edmundson, officiating. A visitation will be held following the service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc, 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements. Born April 16, 1923 in Collinsville, he was a son of the late Harry W. and Mary A. "Mollie" (Workinger) Curran. He was a self employed life-long farmer who was extremely dedicated to his work. A life member of New Harmony Presbyterian Church in Brogue, he was very active in church organizations including as church elder, deacon and assistant Sunday school teacher. In addition to his wife, Mr. Curran is also survived by, two sons, Daniel T. Curran and P. David Curran and his wife, Patsy, both of Brogue, two grandchildren, David L. and Jennifer L. Curran and one niece. He was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Johnson. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to New Harmony Cemetery Association, C/O Art Naff, 2295 Delta Rd, Brogue, Pa 17309 or Asera Care Hospice, 44 Bowman Rd, York, Pa 17404.
