MILL HALL - Paul R. “BUD” Fravel, 89, went in peace with family by his side at Susque-View on Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Paul was born December 4, 1923 in Lock Haven the late Karl and Kathleen (Downs) Fravel of Flemington. He previously lived at Eagle Ridge Personal Care where he thought of everyone as family. Paul was a World War II Army Veteran and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was presented with the Bronze Star Medal for his heroism and bravery. He retired from Hammermill Paper Company in 1986. He was an avid golfer and taught many friends in the area the art of the game. He always had a smile for everyone and a funny joke to tell. Surviving are his daughters; Kathleen (Larry) Rodabaugh of Mountville and Adele (Don) Leisenring of Woolrich. Five grandchildren Krista (Zane) Renzo, Amy (Bret) Mitchell, Jennifer (David) Gallie, Brian Rodabaugh and Matthew (Jessica) Leisenring, four great grandchildren Gianna Renzo, Brady and Dylan Mitchell and Emma Gallie. Paul is survived by a twin sister Pauline Winters and a sister Phyllis (Blair) Barnhart both of Flemington. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall with the Rev. Patty Dodds of St. Luke’s United church of Christ officiating. Friends and relatives will be received from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow with military honors at Woolrich Cemetery.
