SPRING GROVE - Paul L. Sterner Jr., 79, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at York Hospital. Paul was the husband of Sharon R. (Dull) Sterner. The couple was wed on October 28, 1961. A time of viewing will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 12:00PM – 1:00PM at the Heffner Funeral Chapel, 1551 Kenneth Road. Due to the current COVID-19 gathering restrictions, services for Paul will be private. Born in New Freedom on February 8, 1942, Paul was the son of the late Paul L. and Ruth (Kenney) Sterner Sr. Mr. Sterner worked as an electrician with Johnson Control and retired after 35 years of service. Paul was a lifetime member at the Vigilant Social Club. Paul enjoyed spending time with his family. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Sharon; three sons, Robert Sterner of York, Scott Sterner of Red Lion, Rick Sterner of Dover; daughter Lorie Schwartz and her husband, Bob of York; grandchildren, Skyler Sterner and his wife, Emily, Britney Sterner, Emily Sterner, Brooke Schwartz and Hunter Schwartz; and his brother Clair Sterner.
