Paul L. Smith

YORK- Paul L. Smith, 81, died on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Pleasant Acres. He was the husband of the late Rose M. (Downes) Smith to whom he was married for 47 years until her passing. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion. A viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery. Born on May 18, 1940 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Paul and Piccola (Shirk) Smith. Paul was a Leasing Manager for PLM Trailer Leasing until his retirement in 2003. Mr. Smith was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Dallastown. He had a love for antique cars and also enjoyed traveling, cruises and camping with his wife. Mr. Smith is survived by his son, Thomas Smith and his wife, Michelle of Red Lion; daughter, Lisa Williams and her husband, Matt of Gainesville, GA; and granddaughter, Caroline Smith.
