Paul L. Shroat

LOCH HAVEN - Paul L. Shroat, 67, of Flemington died Sunday, November 25, 2012 at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center. He was born April 16, 1945 in Lock Haven a son of the late George and Rose (Aikley) Shroat. Paul was married 46 years to the former Sharon J. Miller. He worked for Capitol Coach and the Army Corps of Engineers. Paul was a longtime member of the Castanea Fire Company. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are his wife and two sons Mike (Beth) Shroat of McElhattan and Jeff (Brenda) Shroat of Flemington also a daughter Traci Marchesi of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Five grandchildren Jessica, Marc, Macie, Ethan and Bradley also two great-granddaughters Isabella and Ava. One brother George Miller of Jersey Shore and two sisters Joan Summerson of Renovo and Cindy Bower of Castanea. The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall with the Rev. Helen Learn officiating. Friends and relatives will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
