Paul John Turek, Jr.

YORK- Paul John Turek, Jr., 84, of Manchester Township, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at his residence. He was the husband of Patricia V. Turek. Paul and Pat celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on April 20, 2023.

Paul was born in Shickshinny, PA on April 9, 1939, the son of the late Paul John and Pauline (Reng) Turek. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY.

Paul was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in York. He was a Penn State graduate with an MBA from the University of Rochester. He served in the US Army at Fort Jackson in Columbia, SC.

Paul leaves a son, Paul John Turek, III (Emma); two daughters, Christine Benlafquih (Abdou), and Julie Turek (John Wetherell); eight grandchildren, Zaynab, Tarek, Safiyah, Ayub, Assiyah, Ali, Paul, IV, and Bella; a brother, George Turek (Vicky) and a sister, Peggy Zackon (Mike).

Memorial contributions may be made the York County Food Bank, 15 Marianne Dr., York, PA17406.

Services will be private at a later date, with the interment of cremated remains in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is assisting with the arrangements.
