Dallastown—Paul J. Hursh, Jr., 87, died Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Manor Care Health Services—South. He was the husband of Virginia M. (Schnetzka) Hursh with whom he celebrated 64 years of marriage on April 3rd. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 PM, Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with the Rev. Harold E. Snyder of Emmanuel United Methodist Church of Windsor officiating. A viewing will be held from 1-2 PM, Tuesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Stony Brook Mennonite Cemetery. Born September 13, 1925 in York, he was a son of the late Paul J. Hursh Sr., and Mary (Ellis) Hursh. He retired from Trenwyth Industries where he was employed as a mechanic for several years. A United States Army Veteran of World War II, he was also a member of the Dallastown American Legion, Viking Athletic Assoc., and Windsor Lions Club. In addition to his wife, Mr. Hursh is also survived by, one daughter, Linda A. Rexroth and husband Glenn of Dallastown; daughter-in-law, Melody L. Hursh of York; four grandchildren, J.R. Rexroth and wife, Angie, Holly Wirt and husband Chris, and Hilary and Leslie Hursh; two great grandchildren, Morgan and Mia Rexroth; one sister, Anna McKinsey of Dallastown and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Garry L. Hursh; two brothers, John and Henry Hursh and four sisters, Miriam Young, Lydia Workinger, Helen Hengst and Ruth McKinley. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors Project, 1120 G Street NW, Suite 700, Washington, DC 20005
