DALLASTOWN- Paul E. Shenberger, 94, died on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Manor Care Health Services, Dallastown. He was the husband of the late Alverta R. (Ilyes) Shenberger, who died on September 5, 1989. A celebration of life tribute service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with his pastor, the Reverend Ray Hatcher officiating. A viewing will be from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Salem Union Cemetery in Jacobus. Born on July 13, 1918 in Mt. Wolf, he was a son of the late Albert J. and Mellie (Holler) Shenberger. Paul was a Cabinet Worker for Yorktowne Cabinetry for over 25 years until his retirement. Mr. Shenberger was a golden member of Salem Lutheran Church. He enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing. Mr. Shenberger is survived by one daughter, Mary Gutt and her husband, Fred of Dallastown; one step son, Barry Kline and his wife, Ruth of Dallastown; one stepdaughter, Shirley Ort and her husband, Vernon of Glen Rock; six grandchildren, Jay and Matthew Gutt, Shannon and Brandon Tracy, Cris Cooper and Marissa Gonzales; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell Shenberger, Bill Shenberger and Floyd Shenberger; and one sister, Mary Shaffer. Memorial contributions may be made to Salem Lutheran Church, 99 York Rd., Jacobus, PA 17407.
