Paul E. Andy" Andrews

YORK- Paul E. "Andy" Andrews, 89, died Sunday, September 21, 2008 at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Regina C. (Riedel) Andrews to whom he was married to for 53 years upon his wife's death in 1997. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, September 26, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 251 E. Main Street, Dallastown, with Rev. Charles L. Persing officiating. A viewing will be held from 6-8:00 PM Thursday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Burial will be in Dallastown Union Cemetery. Born November 29, 1918 in Red Lion a son to the late George E. and Goldie H. (Patterson) Andrews, he was retired from Pennfield Corporation, formally D.E. Horn, after more than 40 years of service. During his career he had received numerous safety awards from Pennfield. Mr. Andrews was a member of the Red Lion Senior Center; was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener; who also enjoyed watching sports. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where he served as an usher and was active with the Pacesetter's group. Mr. Andrews is survived by two sons, Stephen P. and Daniel P. Andrews both of York; two daughters, Kathryn A. and husband Marlette Thomas of Glen Rock and Angela M. and husband Christopher Carnegie of Ocoee, FL; a grandson, Patrick and wife Malea Thomas; and a great grandson Justin "JT" Thomas. He was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Catherine Andrews; a grandson James Thomas and fianc裠Jody Laughman; and a step granddaughter, Nicole Laughman.
