Paul D. Wolff

TROY - Paul D. Wolff, Age 70, of Barrett Hill Road, Troy, PA, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011 at home following a lengthy illness. Paul was born October 8, 1940 in Philadelphia, PA son of the late Harry and Emma (Koschorreck) Wolff. He and the former Barbara J. (Philyaw) Wolff were married September 10, 1960 and celebrated 51 years together. He was employed by Yellow Page One in sales from 1989 to 2000. Paul was number 13 out of 14 children and has four loving sisters and one younger brother surviving him. Paul’s father died when he was five years old and he attended Girard College in Philadelphia, PA, a boy’s home and school for fatherless boys. His classmates at Girard College were like brothers to him. Family and friends are invited to call Sunday, August 21, 2011 from 6 to 7 PM at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA. Paul’s funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 7 PM with Reverend James Shay of the Fellowship Bible Church officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Glenwood Cemetery, Troy, PA. Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Barbara J. Wolff of Troy, his daughters, Linda J. Tompkins of Ithaca, NY, Lisa K. & Eric Campbell of Troy, PA, a son, Paul D. & Renee Wolff, Jr. of Schertz, TX, six wonderful grandchildren, Danielle & Curtis Tompkins, Matthew & Barbie Campbell, Evan & Ashley Wolff, sister-in-law, Bonnie & Duane Haight, brother-in-law, Thomas & Pam Philyaw and many nieces and nephews. Paul was fortunate to have several long-term friends, Richard & Ann Dyer, Ron & Judy Radcliff, Dick & Florence Birdsall, Don & Carolyn Bixby and a loving supportive church family at Fellowship Bible Church.
