TROY-Paul A. Losey, 81, of Troy, PA, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2009 at the Bradford County Manor. He was the loving husband of the late Dolores F. (Hall) Losey who passed away on January 7, 1993. Family and friends are welcome to gather from 5:00-6:00 PM on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA. The funeral service to honor Paul's life will be held at 6:00 PM at the funeral home on Thursday with Rev. Garry Zuber of the First Baptist Church of Troy officiating. The Troy Veterans Honor Guard will follow by giving military honors at 6:30 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at the convenience of Paul's family. Paul was born on June 7, 1928 in Troy, PA, son of the late Charles H. and Cora F. (Cornish) Losey. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the time of the Korean War. Paul retired as a truck driver from the Tayton Trucking Company. He was a member of the Troy Vets Club including the American Legion Post #49 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #8675, the Morris Run Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #0167, the Canton Moose, the Teamsters Union, and he enjoyed fishing. Paul is survived by son Michael and special daughter-in-law Tina Losey of Troy, PA, son Scott Losey and significant other Jenilyn Baker of Towanda, PA, his grandchildren: Heather (Eric) Williams, Michael Porter, Mindy Porter, Tiffany Losey, Christina Losey, his great grandchildren: Lily Williams, Misty, Michael, Mason, Alannah, Brock, and Kalub Porter, his brothers Ed (Jean) Bronson of East Troy, PA, and Charles (Galva) Losey of Troy, PA, his sisters: Jean Yard of East Troy, PA, Marge Brotzman of Scranton, PA, Myra (Lloyd) Cook of Monroeton, PA, and several nieces and nephews. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dolores, and his sister Doris Warden.
