Patsy R. (Miller) Bohnert

YORK- Patsy R. (Miller) Bohnert, 80, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Curtis R. Bohnert, to whom she was married to for over 45 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with the Reverend Dr. Patricia A. Snyder officiating. Visitations will be from 7-9 p.m. on Monday and 9-10 a.m. on Tuesday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Jacobus. Mrs. Bohnert was born on September 17, 1931 in Yoe, a daughter of the late Spurgeon and Beatrice (Miller) Miller. Patsy owned and operated Patsy’s Beauty Shop for over 35 years. Mrs. Bohnert was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Red Lion. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and going for walks. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Bohnert is survived by a son, Michael Bohnert and his wife, Cheryl of York; a daughter, Debra Wise and her husband, Thomas of Dallastown; six grandchildren, Joshua Riedel, Jake Riedel, Devan Bohnert, Michael Bohnert II, Brooke Bohnert and Lila Bohnert; three great grandchildren, Alexis Ritter, Ethan Riedel and Ashlynn Duncker; and a sister, Judith Shaffer and her husband, Almon of Dallastown.
