Patsy A. (Taylor) Beckley

MOUNT WOLF - Patsy A. (Taylor) Beckley, 86, died on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at York Hospital. She was the loving wife of John R. Beckley who passed in July 2020, to whom she was married for 66 years. Services for Mrs. Beckley are private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Final resting place will be at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Road, York. Born June 20, 1935 in York, PA, Patsy was the daughter of the late Gillis and Harriet Taylor. Mrs. Beckley worked as a secretary until she retired. The couple traveled around the United States until settling in Lewes, DE for several years. They then moved to Mt. Wolf to be closer to their family. Mrs. Beckley will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an avid reader and gardener. Patsy also enjoyed needlecraft and taking long car rides. She loved the beach and beach décor. Patsy is survived by her five children, Deborah delCampo and her late husband Jerry, Ann Pepo and her husband Brian, John Beckley and his wife Cindy, Ruth Davis and her husband Ron, Alice Piatt and her husband Rob; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and siblings, Ed Taylor, Joan Eisenhart, and Tom Taylor. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Emma Hossler, John Taylor, and Kathy Taylor; and son-in-law, Jerry delCampo.
