Patricia Naomi (Miller) Ruby

YORK- Patricia N. (Miller) Ruby, 71, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Kenneth H. Ruby. The couple were married 45 years prior to Kenneth’s passing in 2010. Services will be at a later date at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements. Patricia was born October 25, 1945 in York. She graduated from Red Lion High School in the Class of 1963. She was a member of the Hellam VFW Ladies Auxiliary, the Hellam Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and the Independence Street Rod Club. Mrs. Ruby is survived by two daughters, Annette Ludwig (Dr. Michael) of Red Lion, and Sherry Armstrong (Dale) of York; five grandchildren, Ivy Sheffer, T.J. Ellis, and Matthew, Nicholas, and Conner Ludwig; four great grandchildren, Max, Samara, Jonah and Levi; two brothers, Greg Miller of York, and David Miller of NJ, and three sisters, Wendy Overmiller (Keith) of York, Patti Goodyear (James) of Dallastown, and Jeannie Leister (Jack) of MD. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Ruby was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth N. (Flinchbaugh) Miller, and her father, Ivan Miller, Jr. and his wife, Mary Christine.
