Patricia M. (Shenberger) Koontz

RED LION - Patricia M. (Shenberger) Koontz, 72, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Elwood E. Koontz, Sr. Funeral services and burial will be private. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born May 29, 1938 in York a daughter of the late George and Sara (Hamilton) Shenberger, she had retired from Sam's Club after 16 years of service. Mrs. Koontz enjoyed spending time with her family and especially being around her grandson Kyle whom she loved dearly. Mrs. Koontz is survived by a son, Elwood E. Koontz, Jr. and wife Michelle of Red Lion; a grandson, Kyle Koontz; two brothers, Wayne Shenberger of Red Lion and James Shenberger of York; and a sister, Lois Beckley of Red Lion. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Jo Koontz; and a sister, Joann Banks.
