Patricia M. Moore

ETTERS- Patricia M. (Carey) Moore, 81, of Fairview Township, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 at her residence. She was the wife of Donald A. Moore. The couple celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary on December 9, 2021. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Newberrytown Church of God, 2825 Old Trail Road, in York Haven, PA, with a viewing from 10-11 am at the church. The service will be webcast live and can be viewed by searching Patricia’s obit at Heffnercare.com. Burial will be private in Tri County Memorial Gardens in Lewisberry. Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 West Front Street in Lewisberry is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Moore was born in New Cumberland on April 5, 1940, the daughter of the late John C. and Ruth N. (Wolf) Carey. She was the owner and operator of Petal Pushers Flower Shop in Etters, where she was known as the flower lady for over 30 years. Mrs. Moore was a member of Newberrytown Church of God, where she was a deacon. She coordinated one room school house reunions in the area. She was a 1958 graduate of New Cumberland High School, which was the last class. She also helped coordinate their class reunions. Mrs. Moore leaves a son, Gary L. Artley and his wife Kim of York Haven; two daughters, Lori A. Wolfe of Ulysses, PA and Traci R. Kauffman and her husband, Kerry of East Berlin; two stepdaughters, Donna M. Horne and her husband Curtis and Pamela A. Parnell and her husband Alan; ten grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She also leaves a brother, Samuel Carey; and two sisters, Stephanie Carey and Leona Bolling.
