Patricia G. (Blyler) Miller

DOVER- Patricia G. (Blyler) Miller, 83, died on Friday, March 9, 2012 at Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Guy A. Miller and the wife of the late Carl Knouse. A celebration of life memorial service will be 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with Certified Celebrant Betty Frey officiating. A visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. prior to the service. Born on February 28, 1929, Patricia was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Grace (Ritzman) Blyler. Mrs. Miller was a highly skilled and successful seamstress. She created special occasion and custom wedding gowns. Patricia also raised and showed champion Pomeranians. She loved gardening, travel, her dear friends, and had a great love and compassion to teach the elderly and children the sport of bowling. She was a Certified Bowling Instructor and was a member of the USBC Hall of Fame. Mrs. Miller is survived by a son, Guy Miller of Fredericksburg, PA; two daughters, Penny Spencer of Dover and Susan Sepavich of Harwich Port, MA; a step daughter, Karen Knisley and her husband, Larry of York; six grandchildren, Carl Spencer, Sammuel Spencer, Guy Miller II, Christine Kline, Ryan Miller, and Victoria Sepavich; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Neal Blyler and Robert Blyler. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Pomeranian Club Rescue, 2914 E. Blackhurst Rd., Midland, MI 48642.
