Patricia Ann (Knief) Lessig

YORK- Patricia Ann (Knief) Lessig, 75, formerly of Greensburg, died on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Autumn House East.

Born on May 4, 1947 in Kalamazoo, MI, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Adabelle (Ryder) Knief. Patricia was a manager at JOANN Fabrics for many years until her retirement.

Patricia was an avid crafter especially cross stitching and quiliting. She made beauitiful gifts for family including many Halloween costumes for her grandchildren and her daughter Wendy’s wedding dress. She was a member of the Friends That Stitch group and also enjoyed reading.

Patricia is survived by two daughters, Wendy Trout and her husband, Karl “Kip” of Windsor and Christine Chmura and her husband, Brion of Madison; five grandchildren, Nicholas Trout and his wife, Holly, Benjamin Trout and his wife, Charissa and Samuel Trout, Alex Chmura, Aliesa Chmura; two great grandchilden, Liam Ettinger, Bennett Trout; and two brothers, Ronald Knief and his wife, Pamela Hurd-Knief of Albuquerque, NM and Richard Knief and his wife, Vickie of Noblesville, IN

A tribute service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 11am at Arise! EFC in Hanover. Olewier & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.
