Patricia Ann Kendall

YORK- Patricia Ann (Parsons) Dietrich-Kendall, 64, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Edward Kendall. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, with visitation from 1-2 PM. Pastor Ben Woodring will be officiating at the service. Burial will be private in Silver Springs Cemetery. Born March 14, 1949 in Lancaster she was a daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Landis) Parsons. She worked as a nurse for 30 years until her retirement in 2009. Mrs. Kendall was a member of Zion Bible Church in York. She enjoyed spending time with her family, collecting nurse figurines and attending women’s group bible studies. Patricia was also a former vendor at Morningstar Market where she operated Patty’s Hatitudes. Patricia leaves a daughter, Lisa (Dietrich) Rumsey and husband Wayne of York; a grandson, Tyler Rumsey of York; a sister, Kay Parsons of Lancaster; a niece, Kayla Parsons of Lancaster; and a great niece, Kayliana of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Dietrich. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Bible Church, 1550 N. East St., York, PA 17406.
