Patricia Ann (Buffington) Seymore

DALLASTOWN - Patricia Ann (Buffington) Seymore, 81 of York Township died Friday, May 15, 2015 at Manor Care Health Services in Dallastown. She was the wife of Donald J. Seymore. The couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on February 19, 2015. A Memorial Mass will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 251 E. Main Street in Dallastown, with a visitation from Noon- 1 p.m. The Reverend Father John P. McCloskey, OFM Cap. will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Seymore was born in Hanover on June 22, 1933, the daughter of the late George V. and Mary R. (Cramer) Buffington. She worked for the former Middleburg Manufacturing in Hanover. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dallastown. Her hobbies included gardening and doing seamstress work for other people. Along with her husband, Mrs. Seymore leaves a son, Steven J. Seymore and his wife Charlene of Red Lion; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Cody Seymore; two brothers, George Buffington, Jr. of New Jersey and Joseph Buffington of York; and three sisters, Nancy Smith, Dorothy Kehr, and Linda Eltz, all of Hanover. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jacob, William, and James Buffington and three sisters, Thelma Senft, Pauline Buffington, and Virginia Buffington.
