Patricia A. Sipe

YORK – Patricia A. (Linard) Sipe, 88, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023.

A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 21, 2023 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. A viewing will be held from 9-10:00 AM Friday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery.

Born September 24, 1934 in Elizabethtown, Lancaster Co., a daughter of the late Harold S. and Dorothy E. (Miller) Linard; she was a 1952 graduate of William Penn Senior High School. Mrs. Sipe retired from her accounting career at McCrory Distribution Co. and had also worked at Heritage Valley Federal Credit Union in retirement. She was a member of the National Assoc. of Accountants.

Mrs. Sipe is survived by two daughters, Pamela A. and husband Joe Weaver and Diedre S. and husband Robert Spangler both of York; eight grandchildren, Audra, Kristi and husband Chris, Robert and wife Candy, Jennifer, Mark and husband Andrew, Samantha, Katrina and husband Ryan, Joey and wife Jodie; a step grandson, Todd and wife Olivia; eight great grandchildren; three sisters, Edith Altland of Thomasville, Carolyn Reinhold of West York, and Marian Platt of York; and George W. Sipe, Jr. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold S. Linard, Jr.; and a step grandson, Bradley M. Spangler.
