Patricia A. (Shaw) Ness

YORK- Patricia A. (Shaw) Ness, 71, died on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion. A viewing will be from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be held at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Ness was born on April 3, 1939 in Windsor, a daughter of the late Evan W. Shaw, Sr. and Rachel L. Miller Shaw Kinard. Patricia worked as a homemaker. Mrs. Ness was a life member at Windsor Ladies Auxiliary. She also enjoyed cooking and baking. Mrs. Ness is survived by a daughter, Lisa A. Byers and her husband, Mark of Dover; two grandchildren, Colby Ritter and Paige Leader; one great grandson, Aiden Seidel; one brother, Evan W. "Charlie" Shaw, Sr. of Lower Windsor. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tronda A. Leader; a brother, Robert F. Shaw; and a sister, Norma J. Shaw.
