Patricia A. (Link) Torbert

YORK- Patricia A. (Link) Torbert, 79, died on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Jeffrey L. Torbert who died on April 16, 2021. The couple had been married for 60 years.

A celebration of life tribute service will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements.

Born on January 17, 1944 in York, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth L. and Catherine E. (Bruggeman) Link. Patricia was a plant operator at West York School District for over 30 years until her retirement.

Mrs. Torbert was a member of West York VFW Post 8951 Ladies Auxiliary and the Vigilant Social Club.

Patricia is survived by three daughters, Kimberly Sechrist and her husband, Randy of Dallastown, Jennifer Eyster and her husband, Jon of York and Tammie Mummert and her husband, Mark of Cornelius, NC; seven grandchildren, Lindsay Fritz and her husband, Nick, Megan Sechrist, Nicole Powell and her husband, Ryan, Abby Kinlaw and her husband, Andy, Christian Eyster, Jack Mummert and Nathan Eyster; two great grandchildren, Brayden Fritz and Owen Kinlaw; two brothers, William Link and his wife, Sue of York and Kenneth Link and his wife, Karen of York; and two sisters, Dottie Sloan of York and Jean Kern and her husband, Richard of York. She was preceded in death by her brother, Philip Link.
