Patricia A. (Harrold) Snyder

RED LION - Patricia A. (Harrold) Snyder, 67, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at her residence, surrounded by her family, after a 14 years courageous battle with breast cancer. She was the wife of Richard D. Snyder. The couple wed on March 21, 1982. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 2523 Pine Grove Rd., York with Pastor Joel N. Coleman officiating. Viewings will be from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc, 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion and from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born on February 22, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Romaine (Hoke) Harrold. Patricia worked as a Senior Accountant for BAE, formerly BMY, for 23 years until her retirement in 2000. With her job, she enjoyed traveling to many places throughout the United States. Mrs. Snyder was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Ladies Sunshine Group. She was also a member of the Women’s Social Card Club. Patricia enjoyed camping, traveling and visiting casinos. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with and babysitting her grandchildren. Along with her husband, Richard, Mrs. Snyder is survived by a son, Matthew Oyler and his wife, Elizabeth of York Twp.; a stepson, Jeff Snyder and his wife Renee of Gilbert, AZ; a step daughter, Lorri Bankert and her husband, Jan of Red Lion; seven grandchildren, Camden, Chloe, Jessica, Walter, Jennifer, Ashley and Alex; a great granddaughter, Ali; a brother, William Harrold and his wife, Doris of Spring Grove; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Harrold. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G.
