Patricia A. (Gladwin) Strausbaugh

WINDSOR- Patricia A. (Gladwin) Strausbaugh, 61, of Windsor Township, died Thursday, August 18, 2011 at her residence. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion. Certified Celebrant Betty Frey will be officiating at the service. Viewings will be from 6-9 p.m. on Monday and 9-10 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Dallastown. Mrs. Strausbaugh was born in Harrisburg on March 16, 1950, a daughter of the late James J. and Doris M. (Hoke) Gladwin. She retired from Central York School District and worked for Panera Bread. Mrs. Strausbaugh was a 1969 graduate of Dallastown High School. She enjoyed canning many different types of food. Mrs. Strausbaugh leaves a companion, Mose Gilbert; two daughters, Catherine S. Amspacher and her husband Joshua of Windsor, and Lisa A. Saylor and her husband William of Windsor; four grandchildren, Tiffany A. Hake, James M. Saylor, Sean L. Saylor, and Courtney E. Hake; four brothers, Robert Gladwin of Ohio, Michael Gladwin of New Cumberland, George Gladwin of Red Lion, and John Gladwin of Felton; a sister, Joan Gould of Clinton, OK and an aunt and uncle, Leander and Jane Hoke of Louisville, KY. She leaves her special friends, Tammy, Scott, Brady, and Shayna Hearn, Peggy and Brandon Bahn and their son Camden, Tom Baldwin and the late Karen R. Baldwin. She was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy McCafferty. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA/ Hospice Services, 912 S. George Street, York, PA 17403.
