Pat (Kraeling) Miller

DOVER- Pat (Patricia Sue) (Kraeling) Miller, 76 of Dover Twp., passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at her residence. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd in York, with a visitation from 1-2 p.m. Certified Celebrant Kasie Watkins will be officiating at the service. Burial will be private in Mt. Zion Cemetery in York. Pat was born in Pittsburgh on July 25, 1939, the daughter of the late George A. and Dorothy C. (Myers) Kraeling. She graduated from High School in Pittsburgh and then graduated Western PA School of Nursing in 1960. She worked at West Penn and Western Psychiatric Hospital in Pittsburgh. She then retired as an Occupational Health Nurse after 30 years of service from Caterpillar in York. Pat volunteered at both Memorial Hospital and the SPCA in York. She bowled in numerous leagues at Colony Park. She frequented many local Subway Restaurant’s where she got to know the employees well. The family would like to thank the employees for their acts of kindness. Pat leaves a daughter, Lori A. Freeland and her husband Antoine of Dover; two grandchildren, Ashley Benedict and Antoine Freeland, Jr.; and a great grandson, Gunner.
