Pamela A. Pepper

YORK- Pamela Ann Pepper, 75, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024, at WellSpan York Hospital.

Born May 20, 1948, in Schuylkill, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Emily (Davis) Pepper. For much of her childhood, Pam was raised by her grandmother in Abington, PA, while her mother worked as the Head Nurse in the Maternity Department at Abington Memorial Hospital.

Pam graduated from Shippensburg University and got a Master’s Degree from the University of Maryland as well.

For most of her career, Pam was a kindergarten and first grade teacher at Stewartstown Elementary School. She also worked as a Reading Specialist for the entire district. Her career spanned almost 40 years.

Outside of work, she enjoyed spending time with her dogs and fishing with friends off the coast of Delaware.

Pamela is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Emily (Davis) Pepper.
